WHAT IS TRICKING?
Tricking is an impressive discipline that combines kicks, flips, twists and more from various types of movement such as martial arts, gymnastics, breakdance, capoeira, etc. It's about pushing your limits and it aims to achieve an aesthetic display of different combinations of “tricks”.

THE VENUE
Nestled in the West of the city, our venue Sportcentrum Ookmeer stands as a beacon for athletic excellence. Its Olympic Gymnastics hall is not only steeped in legacy but also equipped with top-tier apparatus catering to gymnasts, freerunners and trickers alike.
Every year, we turn their 1232m2 Athletics hall into a Sleeping Area, where we have our rather glorious sleepover with trickers all over the world! And in the Battle Area and Training Area, we offer over 600m2 of plyo floor to train, mingle or prep for battle. Throughout Hooked Tournament, attendees can immerse themselves in workshops, rejuvenating yoga sessions by our Yogi Mariska, and a spectrum of entertainment options.
And as the Hooked Champ has been chosen, the vibe shifts to the vibrant ‘Time Out’ canteen. Here guests can relish the unique flavor of our Hooked Tournament beers and party hardy with us at our after-party!
